Recruitment Experience

Hi, everyone! Chi Omega’s recruitment chair here!

I’m so excited for you to start a journey of finding forever friendships and a college career full of unforgettable memories.

Greek life was something that I had little interest in going into college. I had no idea what "recruitment" was, or what it meant to be a part of the Greek community. I signed up after meeting women on my floor who were going through recruitment and a best friend who was very persistent about giving it a shot. “What is there to lose?” they would say.

Little did I know, by making this decision, there was nothing that I lost but so much that I gained. Looking back on my experience as a freshman, not knowing a single thing about what a sorority was... to where I am today, the recruitment chair, proves just how much growth that decision gave me. The leadership opportunities, friendships, involvement on campus, service to our community, date parties... everything that Greek life is, was what I wanted out of my college experience.

Future PNMs: don’t hesitate to sign up for recruitment this fall! Look forward to all that you have to gain.
